The Darwin Awards are a way to honor those people who would not have been recognized. These awards are completely ironic, and there is no organization behind them.

The name comes from the scientist Charles Darwin. According to this theory, species improve and evolve over time because only the strongest people survive.
  

The Darwin Awards reward the death of people who have occurred in absurd situations, mostly due to clumsiness. As Darwin would say, a step for the evolution of humanity for the better. Its origin goes back to the United States in 1985, as a way to laugh at those situations. Make a little black humor.
The Darwin Prize is not something that can be received. Also, keep in mind that the person who would receive it is dead when it is decorated.
The mobile has been the great cause of deaths of this type. For example, on January 24, 2016, a 58-year-old man died in a traffic accident. I did not have the belt on, nor the pants. Apparently, he was masturbating while watching pornography through his cell phone.
